Waitress
Sara Bareilles’ spectacular musical Waitress is all set to
make its grand opening at the London West End! In the year 2016, the show made
its huge opening on Broadway and all set to make its London debut in February
2019.
The sensational new London show, Waitress is adapted from
popular 2007 movie of Adrienne Shelly with the same name. The story revolves
around a pie-maker Jenna who is all set to escape her small town and a loveless
marriage. When she finds about a baking contest nearby and finds her way out. However,
she discovers some interesting secret about her.
Some of the key highlights of the show are heart touching music
and lyrics by six-time Grammy Award-nominee Sara Bareilles. The heart touching
London show features some popular tunes such as “Bad Idea”, “You Matter to Me”
and “She Used to Be Mine and many more. The show starred Broadway legend Jessie
Mueller as Jenna, alongside Drew Gehling, Kimiko Glenn, Keala Settle and award-winner
Christopher Fitzgerald along with Betsy Wolfe, Katherine McPhee and Bareilles
herself.
Under the superb direction of Diane Paulus or Pippin, the
London Westend production will be a must watch theatrical experience. Some
other highlights are choreography by Lorin Latarro (Les Liaisons Dangereuses).
Moreover, this will be the first Westend musical that features an all-female
creative team. The two hours and thirty minutes show will be recommended for
12+kids. Adelphi Theatre London Westend is all set to host the blockbuster
London musical.

Waitress is the Tony and Drama Desk Award-nominated musical that bakes love,
