The Queen's Theatre London has witnessed unprecedented success while hosting performances of world's longest running musical. The Queen's Theatre was built as a twin to the Hicks Theatre and both these structures were designed by the notable theatre architect W.G.R. Sprague. The 1939 German bombings have destroyed the theatre badly and was closed for coming two decades for renovations.
